Our vision at Hamilton-Brown is to be the go-to agency for all our clients’ creative needs. We want to challenge both ourselves and our clients and as a result showcase the great work we achieve together. Founded in 2000, we’ve created bespoke and unique design solutions for 21 years and counting…
We have built an impressive portfolio of clients in the UK and across the globe, covering a diverse range of sectors including media, commercial property, legal, asset management, financial, advisory, healthcare and technology.
We are offering a unique and exciting opportunity for six enthusiastic, passionate, hard-working Graduates to join an established B2B creative agency, based in the thriving areas of London, Farringdon EC1 and Bristol’s City Centre.
You will be joining a fast-paced, highly-skilled team, who readily adapt to evolving requirements and new technologies. We are passionate about all things creative, aware of industry trends and dedicated to providing our clients with the highest level of creative solutions and customer service. We are a full-service design agency which offers a variety of services including branding, website design and development, pitches, proposals and marketing collateral. We constantly strive to learn and grow from each project and interaction in order to produce the best creative output for our clients and partners.
Hamilton-Brown has a well-established Graduate programme, with many of our current Senior Designers having started their careers at Hamilton-Brown as Graduates. We look for the brightest, most creative talent and offer a comprehensive training programme covering the use of Microsoft Office Suite for Graphic Design, Google Slides, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, in addition to providing training in interactive documents and digital platforms (PDF, Ceros, Foleon, WordPress and After Effects). Our training programme also encompasses customer service skills training and the Quality Review process. We are looking for Graduates who want to fast track their career within the graphic design industry.
The initial training will be classroom based, led by our in-house Training Manager, and will take place in the Training Room of our Farringdon Studio, based in Central London. After the initial training period you will be mentored by a Senior Designer who will support your transition from a Trainee to a Junior Designer and during this time you will be allocated a client team which will involve working as part of a small in-house team within our client’ offices, or from one of our studios based in London and Bristol. After an initial period (approximately four months) you will have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, splitting your time between working from home and working in one of our studios or client’s offices (depending on which team you have been allocated).
What you will be doing
Our Graduate Trainee Graphic Design programme is split into eight core modules involving both classroom sessions and on-the-job training, including job-shadowing, researching, mood-boarding and case studies before our Graduates transition to “live” work for our prestigious and diverse array of corporate clients.
Our Graduate Training is delivered in the following modules: -
